Aurora support
How can we help?
Quick answers for setup, partner sharing, notifications, purchases, and your data.
First steps
Set up your shared space
-
01
Choose your side
The person tracking their cycle chooses Continue with Apple. The other person taps Join as Partner, enters the invite code, and then continues with Apple.
-
02
Sign in with Apple
Each person must use a different Apple ID. Aurora uses Apple sign-in to keep each side separate.
-
03
Share the invite privately
The cycle owner opens Profile and sends the invite code to one trusted partner.
-
04
Add the first period
The cycle owner chooses the first day and end date. Aurora then shows calendar and phase estimates.
Common questions
Try these fixes first
My partner invite code does not work
- Make sure both people are using the current App Store version of Aurora.
- Enter the complete code without extra spaces. Letter case does not matter.
- Use a different Apple ID for each person; an account cannot join its own cycle.
- An invite accepts only one partner. If it was already used, the cycle owner can open Profile → Disconnect partner to create a fresh code.
I am not receiving partner notifications
- Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → Aurora and turn on Allow Notifications.
- Open Aurora once after changing the setting so the app can register the device again.
- Confirm that the partner connection is active in Profile.
- Check Focus modes and Scheduled Summary if alerts arrive silently or late.
Aurora currently sends partner alerts for mood updates and completed daily quizzes. Notification delivery also depends on Apple and Expo services.
How do I add, edit, or delete a period?
- Add: as the cycle owner, use the center add button and choose the period dates.
- Edit or delete: open Calendar → Edit Period, choose a saved period, then save the new dates or delete it.
- Partner accounts: partners can view cycle information but cannot add, edit, or delete periods.
The cycle or fertile-window estimate looks wrong
Check that your most recent period dates are correct and edit them if needed. Aurora estimates phases from saved period dates; bodies and cycles vary, so an estimate can differ from what happens.
Do not use Aurora for contraception, diagnosis, or treatment. Speak with a qualified clinician if you have a health concern.
How do quiz results work?
Each person answers the same three daily questions. Results become available after both people finish. If only one person answers, that person can see the available result after the quiz date has passed. A new quiz unlocks after midnight.
I paid to remove ads, but the banner is still visible
- Open Profile → Ads.
- Tap Restore purchase.
- Make sure the iPhone is signed in to the Apple ID that made the purchase.
- Restart Aurora after a successful restore.
If it still fails, contact support with the error message and purchase date. Do not send payment-card details.
How do I change ad privacy choices?
When Google’s consent system requires a privacy entry point for your region, Aurora shows Profile → Ads → Privacy choices. You can also review iOS privacy settings. Aurora requests non-personalized banner ads and does not send period dates, moods, partner details, or quiz answers to Google Mobile Ads.
What happens when I disconnect my partner?
The former partner loses future in-app access to the shared cycle. The cycle owner receives a fresh invite code and can connect someone else. Disconnecting cannot recall information the former partner already saw or captured outside Aurora.
How do I delete my account and data?
- Open Profile.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm deletion.
This permanently requests deletion of your Aurora account and associated server-side app data and cannot be undone. Apple, RevenueCat, or other processors may retain purchase or legal records under their own policies.
After Aurora confirms deletion, remove the remaining Apple authorization from iOS Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Aurora → Delete. Aurora shows this path in the deletion confirmation because it does not retain an Apple token it can revoke automatically.
If you cannot access the app, email akos@famescale.co from an address associated with your request. Identity verification may be required.
Ad safety
Report an inappropriate or age-inappropriate ad
If a banner ad feels sexual, misleading, unsafe, discriminatory, age-inappropriate, or otherwise unsuitable for Aurora, please report it so it can be investigated with the ad provider.
Please include:
- a screenshot cropped to the ad itself;
- the date, approximate time, and your time zone;
- your country or region;
- what made the ad inappropriate; and
- your Aurora app version, if available.
Protect your privacy: crop the screenshot to the ad. Do not include cycle dates, mood information, quiz answers, names, partner invite codes, Apple account details, or any other sensitive information.
